Lack of clarity in requirements is one of the leading challenges that Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering teams face and can make testing much more difficult and time consuming.  Sprints, products, and on-time delivery suffer often due to poor requirements.

Expectations of the quality team has evolved from brute force testing after the development has been completed to becoming a quality advocate for the team.  This requires them to be closely aligned with their development team members.  Requirement clarity is key to achieving the much sought-after alignment.
