Project amd Process Tailoring for Success
Roger Strain, Comprehensive Designers Inc. (CDI) Chicagoland

About the Topic

Despite many advances in technology, training and process engineering, why do large and small companies alike continue to struggle with successful delivery of software development projects? While there are many underlying causes, a common issue is the tendency towards adopting a "one-size-fits-all" approach to the software development lifecycle. By implementing tailoring, organizations can significantly reduce their IT project failure rate and eliminate irrelevant tasks and project documentation while still maintaining adequate controls and compliance.

How can Project amd Process Tailoring help you improve your testing projects? Many organizations start out with the honorable intention of creating and standardizing on a single standard process. Unfortunately, this quest for uniformity can quickly backfire due to variations in project size, complexity and requirements. Our speaker will provide valuable insight into how Project and Process Tailoring can be integrated into your software testing process to align process intensity with project complexity and risk.
