About CQAA

CQAA is a nonprofit professional organization that was established in 1984 to promote quality principles and practices within Chicago-area companies.


CQAA provides a forum for information technology professionals of all disciplines - product managers and owners, business analysts, scrum masters, and software designers, developers, and testers - to present and discuss methods to implement and enhance software quality.


  • Facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas among information technology professionals
  • Sponsor presentations on quality and related topics by experts and by members
  • Host regular virtual and in-person meetups for members to get to know each other outside of traditional professional settings
  • Provide a forum for corporate sponsors to list available employment opportunities for technology professionals
  • Maintain lines of communication with other professional associations and foster cooperative activities of common interest and opportunities for industry certifications and training
